It was time for the
annual
Chili-cook-off at the Westgate Mall in Brainerd. This was a
fund raising effort for the United Way.
Paula is seen here with her friends from the Brainerd Noon Rotary Club. They were advertising their P(+)sitive Charge campaign to emphasize the good in the Brainerd area. |
Lots of really great chili was poured into cups for the hungry that day. |
These firemen? were there from Brainerd Savings and Loan. Good chili too. |
Wes Hughes was there with his ladies who handle computer recycling. Wes is a computer pro. |
Hot chili was served by folks from the
Brenny Funeral Chapel in Brainerd. Many hundreds attended this successful fund raising event. |
Ladies from the Good Samaritan assisted living facility served their best chili that day. |
Pat Smith, salesman for Culligan in the area, enjoyed the chili. |
Paula finished it all off with a cupcake. Well, it was her 57th birthday that day. Happy birthday, Paula! |
