Wednesday, April 6, 2011:  Hey Culligan Man!  Ray Watson of Culligan stopped by to install a new water softener.  Here he is cutting a piece of tubing to make it all work.  Ray has been a plumber for Culligan for 18 years.   

Ray showed off the latest in plumbing technology.  It is copper pipe fittings that are "crimped" onto pipes.  What makes the system leak-proof is "O" rings in the middle of fittings that go onto pipes.

The proof is in the pudding.  Soft water that hardly needs any soap to bubble up.
