Monday, April 4, 2011:  It is blue skies with puffy clouds.  Brisk spring winds and warming temperatures are melting the snow rapidly in the Northland.  Spring fever is on the way after a long winter. 

Thursday, April 7, 2011: A DEFINITE sign of spring.  A street sweeper was out cleaning up winter sand and debris.  Now we KNOW it is spring!
On this day in 2010, it was Easter at Gilbert Lodge.
