Chef Paula

Thursday, February 14, 2013:  Valentine's Day. 

Chef Paula selected an extra thick steak for this occasion. 

How thick was it?  Well, she gauged it with a finger.

Then it was off to the BBQ on the Promenade Deck. 

Yes, the natural gas BBQ is used there in the winter too.

A little bit of fat burning on this one.

There was a cozy fire in the Grand Fireplace that night.

It gives a warm feeling on cold weather days and nights.

Paula prepared one of her "almost everything" salads.

This included blue cheese.

The main course was served when the steak was done.

Fit for a king and queen on Valentines Day.

Dessert was from Paula's private stock of Big Island Candies....made in Hawaii.

It was the Chocolate Dipped Original Shortbread cookies.

Just right for occasion.
