Friday, August 31, 2012: Mark and Paula were on the road headed east. They stopped at Taylor's Falls for something sweet at a bakery there. It is a great place to stop along the St. Croix River. |
The next day, Chef Paula was at a Farmer's Market in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, some 30 miles west of Milwaukee checking out the produce. Yes, the spelling is correct. Oconomowoc (O' con-o-mo-walk) is Algonquian and is on a lake of the same name. |

Yes, there was a lot to see including the lady who displayed her favorite shopping bag for everyone to see. |

Flowers are a popular at that market. |

Mark came across a gathering of Harley-Davidson motorcycle owners who were holding a solemn ceremony with representatives of the Nation of Patriots on tour through the country. The organization provides financial support to families of wounded service veterans. Lead on! |
