Friday, March 23, 2012:  Mark and Paula were in Minneapolis looking for signs of spring. 

Yes, there is one now....a street sweeper.  Definitely a sign of spring.

They also caught a glimpse of a muskrat on a local pond. 

Just ask Muskrat Paula muskrats them some time.

There was Paula in a motel room adding content to her Facebook account and checking the Gilbert Lodge page for current news.
Saturday, March 24, 2012:  Canadian geese were seen in Minneapolis where spring is a week earlier than Brainerd because it is further south. 

My these geese look well fed.
Then it was off to Spring Break 2012, sponsored by the Twin Cities Area Council of Camera Clubs.  This was the 27th annual such gathering of photographers from around the five state area.  Some 350 showed up to learn from the masters and share ideas.

This one was Rod Planck from McMillan, Michigan.

Brainerd photographers were later spotted at a local restaurant.  (l-r) Doug Livingston, who is a Past President of the FocalPoint photography club.  Next to him is Sharon Curtis.  She and Doug are engaged to be married in July.  Next is Sandy Holm, Shutterbug Paula, and then Mark.

Doug, Who will be the photographer at your wedding?
