31, 2012: There were more more fishermen
out on Gilbert Lake.
Paula was wondering if they were catching "her" fish! Gilbert is 369 Acres with 7.8 Miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 45 feet. Fish include Northern Pike, Blue Gill, Bass, and Crappie. |
Later in the day,
Chef Paula was busy in the
Grand Galley preparing a pot roast dinnert.
It all started at 8 AM when she browned the meat before putting it in a crock pot. Here, she is removing the juice to make gravy. |

Like any good cook, she was caught tasting the gravy to make sure it was just right. |
The gravy went very well over potatoes
and carrots. Just right on a cold winter day. |
Paula couldn't resist making cookies for dessert. |
