Chef Paula
Sunday, December 25, 2011:   Chef Paula prepared a turkey dinner for the Hirst family.  (l-r) Elena, Newel, Paul, Kirsten, and Teresa.  It was a fresh, not frozen, turkey for this Christmas meal.
On the table, it looked and tasted great. 

You can see Paula back in the kitchen getting last minute items on a plate at the time of this photo.    

Newel and Elena played a new word game called, "Word on the Street."  Very interesting and challenging.
Then it was out on Gilbert Lake for ice skating....at least the younger ones were on skates.
The skating adventure made everyone hungry again so it was back to the table for dessert.  Chef Paula had prepared home made peach pie and the pumpkin pie, as seen on a previous episode of this blog. 

Mark decided he wanted some of each with ice cream....lucky guy.
