         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

Tuesday, November 8, 2011:  Spices were laid out on a kitchen counter in preparation for cooking a turkey.  Chef Paula rubbed them with olive oil onto a turkey.

After three hours at 325 degrees, the turkey came out of the oven golden brown.  Paula used large forks to handle the bird.

Then she made gravy.  As usual, Chef Paula had to taste it to make sure it was "just right" before serving.

Mark helped by carving the bird.  In the past, he just like the white meat, but now has grown to like the dark turkey meat as well.

On the table it was fit for a king with dressing, vegetables, and cranberries.

Chef Paula did it again. 

Who could resist turkey on a cold fall day?
