Tuesday, November 8, 2011: Spices were laid out on a kitchen counter in preparation for cooking a turkey. Chef Paula rubbed them with olive oil onto a turkey. |
After three hours at 325 degrees, the turkey came out of the oven golden brown. Paula used large forks to handle the bird. |
Then she made gravy. As usual, Chef Paula had to taste it to make sure it was "just right" before serving. |
Mark helped by carving the bird. In the past, he just like the white meat, but now has grown to like the dark turkey meat as well. |
On the table it was fit for a king with dressing, vegetables, and cranberries. Chef Paula did it again. Who could resist turkey on a cold fall day? |
Quote of the day: Jesus fed the multitude with two fish and five loaves of bread. The fish was actually lutefisk. That's how he fed so many! Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
