Sunday, November 6, 2011:  Paula was tired all summer because of Daylight Savings Time.  That's right, she lost an hour of sleep back in April and couldn't quite make it up.  So, when we changed back to Standard Time, she gained an hour of sleep and was ready to do almost anything.

She even raked leaves from the driveway at Gilbert Lodge.  

Then it was time to use the leaf blower to finish the job.

Meanwhile, Mark was using that extra hour to stack firewood in the garage so that it can later be burned in the Grand Fireplace at the lodge.

That night the fire was burning in grand fashion.  It was comforting to hear the crackle of the fire and the tick-tock of a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired clock.  Even a nearby mouse liked it.
