         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Sunday, September 25, 2011:  Do you remember this sign with green grapes a month or so ago that Mark and Paula saw?  Well, they were nice and purple and look just right for picking.....if it wasn't for the sign that is!  The grapes were on a neighbor's property and they wonder what he has planned.  Wine...perhaps.  Hmmm....when might the wine be ready for sampling?  
Firebug Paula decided it was time to burn tree limbs and other wood that was not suitable for the Grand Fireplace at Gilbert Lodge.  She did the burning in a fire ring, thanks to friend Jim Barry. 

Paula, watch out...the fire looks like the fire wants to escape.  Good thing she has a water hose nearby.
At the end of the evening, the fire had burned down to coals before Paula put it out completely.
