Monday, September 26, 2011: Chef Paula was busy preparing Alaskan King Salmon for dinner at Gilbert Lodge. She used some interesting and good tasting mustard to enhance the flavor at the grill on the Promenade Deck. |
While the salmon was cooking, she served a salad made entirely with ingredients from a local farmer's market. A very good choice, Paula. |
The salmon came off the grill just right. Mark likes his well done. |
On a dinner plate, it was a very healthy meal. |
Mark and Paula headed out for a sunset cruise on Gilbert Lake aboard the Minnow after dinner. The sun was just setting on a beautiful day. Sunset comes early in late September. |
