Saturday, September 17, 2011:  As we head into fall, there is fog on many mornings.  In this case, it was over Gilbert Lake where blue sky reflected the landscape into the water.


Chef Paula
Chef Paula picked apples from one of her apple trees on the Gilbert Lodge grounds.  What does she have in mind for them?
She made apple pie laced with cinnamon.
It tasted great with ice cream after it was cooked and cut.
