Friday, April 22, 2011:  Family and relatives gathered at the Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd for a funeral service for Paula's father, Chester "Chet" Timman.  The church was almost filled to capacity by people whose lives Chet had touched over the years.

The sign says it all.  Chet is now back in the hands of God.  There is Chet's photo on the table in front.

Pastor Rory Swenson did an excellent job telling of the life of Chet and what a good person he was. 

Granddaughter Jessica Timman and Cleo Kuelbs provided music for the service.  Jessica is an opera singer.  It was all exceptionally well done.  Songs included Amazing Grace and On Eagles Wings.

Later that day, relatives gathered in front of the Grand Fireplace at Gilbert Lodge to talk about the "live and times" of Chet Timman.
