November 14, 2009:  There was an open house at the Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd.  This annual event draws many people from the area to see what local artisans are doing.  Guitarist Jim Olsen and singer Cleo Kuelbs entertained the visitors in the entryway.

A close-up of the two.  They really enjoy making music for audiences.

Back at Gilbert Lodge, Chef Paula was busy preparing dinner.  This night it was pork chops smothered in mushroom soup.

Mashed potatoes were added and they went well with the mushroom soup.     

On the table with green peas and a little butter on the potatoes, it looked and tasted great.
