August 30, 2010:  After a summer of construction, the north end of Riverside Drive was opened to traffic.  The newly widened and paved drive is terrific.  With gutters and guard rails, it is a huge improvement. 

Back at Gilbert Lodge, just a mile or so away, a Monarch butterfly is having a great time.    
Chef Paula planted tomatoes this year and they are coming up.  It won't be long before she is serving them to guests.
