         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

August 29, 2010:  There was a neighborhood party at the home of Mark and Cathy Gray.  The neighborhood is Gilbert View Estates where Gilbert Lodge is located on the north side of Brainerd, MN.        

About 60 people from 20 of the 25 homes in the housing development showed up to socialize and dine.    
Party host Mark Gray cooked fish in a deep fryer.  The fish came from Gilbert Lake and some other surrounding lakes.  They were breaded and then fried in nugget-sized chunks.  Great stuff!

Mark Persons was there filling his plate from the plentiful lineup of good tasting food.

How could anyone resist a plate of fish, potato salad, baked beans, and much more?         

(l-r) Paula Persons helped hostess Cathy Gray get the dessert ready.  The cake had "Gilbert View Estates, Neighborhood Fish Fry" on it.       
As many as 17 children were spotted in the Gray's swimming pool at once. 

A fun time was had by all.
