August 31, 2010:  Gilbert Lodge took delivery of a box of fresh peaches from Washington state.  They were from a Peach-a-Palooza fund raising sale by the Brainerd Rotary Club.
Chef Paula worked overtime as a baker by making a peach pie and a peach upside down cake.  How does anyone loose weight at a place like this?
September 1, 2010:  On a plate with New York vanilla ice cream, it was a feast fit for a king.  Only the best for guests at Gilbert Lodge.
