Saturday, November 6, 2010: Chef Paula was honing her pie making skills by baking a pumpkin pie. She used a ring to keep the crust edges from burning and a thermometer to make sure it was done just right. |
Here she is with the pie on a cooling rack. |
When the pie had cooled, New York Vanilla ice cream was added to complete the dessert. Great stuff! Paula is now ready to prepare pumpkin pie for a Thanksgiving feast later this month. |
