Thursday, December 24, 2020:  Christmas eve.

Chef Paula was busy in the Galley preparing a turkey for a mid-afternoon feast.
She cooks with wine and sometimes puts it in the food!

Mark carved the turkey while Paula prepared the gravey...made from scratch.

On the table, it was a feast fit for a king.

Pumpkin pie naturally goes with turkey.

Time to watch a Christmas service online from the Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd on a smart TV.

Then Mark and Paula headed out in a car to see what Christmas eve was like in Brainerd.
They stopped by the All Veterans Memorial at 4th and Laurel streets to the the Christmas wreath.

Many homes were nicely decorated.

They ended the tour by stopping at Brainerd's famous concrete water tower, lit red and green for Christmas.

Quote of the day:     Merry Christmas.  Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
