Saturday, December 23, 2017:
Mark and
Paula headed out to Rice Lake in Brainerd to see ice fishermen and women.
The lake is actually a large bay of the Mississippi River. A great fishing spot for many. |

They use
four wheelers to haul the fishing gear to and from the lake. |
 |
|
That made Mark and Paula hungry for fish. So, their next stop was
Morey's
where the sign urges people to, "Eat More Fish!" |
 |

|
Yes, there was an old fisherman and many gift items. |
 |
|
One display case had smoked fish. Just what Mark and Paula like. |
 |
|
This display had
Lutefisk.
Not for Mark or Paula, but others crave the stuff. Mark puts Lutefisk in the same category as Korean Kimchi, neither one suits his sense of smell or taste. |
 |
|
So, Paula settled on smoked white fish along with Amber Valley brand Blue
Stilton blue cheese. Great for any occassion. |
