Mark and
Paula walked out on frozen Gilbert Lake. The ice was just thick enough for fish houses to be put out. |

Paula,
ever vigilant for aquatic life, looked through a frozen fishing hole.
Nothing observed, but she said she would see something if she had been under the ice with her SCUBA gear on. |

After
an hour, it was time to head back home along snowmobile trails. The sky
was a forbearer of snow to come. Paula, wait for me! |
