         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Sunday, February 1, 2015:  Super Bowl Sunday.  Mark chose Kona Longboard beer from Hawaii as his beverage of choice for the game.
Paula liked the Brainerd Lakes One-Eyed Pike beer.  She was born and raised in Brainerd and knows how to prepare home-made pepperoni pizza.

As for best commercials, the audience at Gilbert Lodge liked......

The Jeep Beautiful Lands commercial was  sung to the tune of This Land is Your Land.
 
The Lost Dog commercial was very well done with Budweiser Clydesdale horses saving the dog from a wolf.
 		  
Then there was the domestic abuse ad where a caller to 911 was ordering a pizza, which was really a cry for help.  Nicely done!

Dessert was New York Vanilla ice cream.

Guests could choose Hershey's Chocolate

and Bailey's Irish Cream original coffee creamer (non-alcoholic).

One other option is Bailey's Irish Cream with alcohol.
A close game with a fourth quarter comeback.  In the end, it was the New England Patriots 28, and the Seattle Seahawks 24.
