The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

Tuesday, March 5, 2013:

Deep Diver Paula was out SCUBA diving again at Little Cayman Island.

She and the other divers spotted a barracuda.

Mark remembers that they named a car after this fish.

There is a lot to see especially if you are a sea turtle.

  A nurse shark.

Squirrel fish are seen there too.

Yes, it has eyes and is a trumpet fish.

E-mail from Paula:  Hi Hon:  Did two dives this morning and taking the afternoon off to recoup.  Got to Bloody Bay Wall for the second morning dive.  What a difference a 15 minute boat ride makes in the ocean.  Bloody Bay Wall has a shear drop of 6000 ft.  Saw three turtles, lots of fish, some beautiful sponges on the wall and a nurse shark hiding out underneath a coral head.  The sun started to peak out so it was much more colorful.

Lunches are salads, sandwiches and then usually seafood remaining from the evening before with a different sauce.  Had a nice salmon at lunch with some lunch meat.  Lemon cake for desert.  We also have beans and rice for lunch each day.

Picked up a cool T-shirt for being a repeat customer.  It is the shop's 20th anniversary.  People are enjoying checking out the photos while we are still down here.  Hope all is going well on the home front.  Love and miss you both.  Paula

Quote of the day:  Paula is "living it up" in warm Caribbean waters.   Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
