Sunday, March 3, 2013: Deep Diver
Paula attended a pre-dive meeting on Little Cayman Island.
This is where the hot spots and danger spots were explained. The board looked something like a football game plan. |

Then it was diving into warm Caribbean water. This one is a scorpion fish disguising itself on the bottom, waiting for a bite of lunch. The name reminded Paula of the Crosby, Minnesota, mine pits near where Scorpion snowmobiles were manufactured years ago. She is found diving there many times each summer. In ten years, Paula has over 400 dives logged.

E-mail from Paula: Feeling better this afternoon. Saw a nice scorpion fish and flamingo tongue but didn't get a good photo of that. Fell asleep on the hammocks down by the beach after lunch so that was kind of nice. Cool and rainy here. Great hospitality at the resort here and the food is very good. Can hardly wait to start eating it. Love, Paula |
Quote of the day: Paula really loves diving. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
