Mark and Paula watched Super Bowl XLVII on CBS Television. Neither one of them is a sports fan, but they watched it because everyone else was watching. How smart is that? |
Chef
Paula prepared one of her specialty pepperoni pizzas because she heard that is what she was supposed
to during a big game. The best commercial announcement in the first half was for Taco Bell where senior citizens snuck out at night to enjoy the good life eating tacos. |
The
Chrysler RAM truck commercial with
cowboys and a narrative by Paul Harvey was well received in the second
half. It was about farmers and American values. |
There was a lot of emotion in the game. The San Francisco 49ers got off to a bad start and couldn't quite pull it out by the end of the game. They were bested by the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 34 to 31. San Francisco came back to almost win the game in the fourth quarter after a 34 minute power outage over a large portion of the stadium in New Orleans. Better luck next time. |
Quote of the day: Interesting to see this game. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
