18, 2013: Deep Diver Paula was out snorkeling again that
morning.
She ran into some of her finned ocean friends. These are Raccoon Butterfly Fish. |
Imagine that, a fish with a smile! This one is a Surgeon Fish.
The water is fine anytime by outrigger or surfboard. |
There were a lot of people out that day enjoying the water.
Paula and another mermaid were admiring this handsome sailor. She can't stay away from a seafaring man. |
The wind came up a bit that afternoon pushing waves crashing into
a nearby hotel. No harm done, it was fun to watch. |
Friends gathered to see the sunset that evening. (l-r) Rocky, Dave, Paula, Peneku, and Jean. Golden sun rays reflected off their faces. |
Sunset over Pacific waves was worth seeing that night. |
Back at the ranch, Jean, Paula, and Peneku prepared an excellent dinner. Peneku is 70% Hawaiian and is using the Hawaii friendly hand (hang loose) signal. The interesting part was a home-made lychee sorbet dessert, which Jean prepared. It tasted like sherbet. A dark chocolate and caramel cookie from Big Island Candies crowned it for extra sweetness.

More to come from Hawaii. |
