Monday, January 7, 2013:   

Lake resident Tonya was skiing and Lucky was running on Gilbert Lake. 

Lucky is a very happy dog that loves to get out and play.
 
Todd Froemming and sons were at their ice fish house.

They have been catching nice size Northern and Crappie.

Good eating!

The white door on the fish house is from a home that was built in Brainerd in 1888.

Lane Schaeffer was out pulling kids behind his 4-wheeler.

Paula was there to say Hi.

Lots of fun for everyone.

 
Another great sunset over Gilbert Lake.
Back at the Lodge, Chef Paula prepared her famous carrot and lettuce salad, topped with Balsamic dressing.

She followed that with turkey and stuffing saved from Christmas. 

Who could complain about left overs when they get a meal like this?
