         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Thursday, September 20, 2012:  Paula played host to Taylor and Thomas Ruhl while their folks were at parent-teacher conferences.

Chinese checkers, eh.

Paula is a natural with kids. 

They are attracted to her like a magnet because they see her as one of them.
Paula also spent time teaching Thomas how to play the mountain dulcimer. 

It is something like a guitar, but sounds much different. 

It is mountain man music.

She has been a part of a local dulcimer group since 1990.....some 22 years and counting. 

My how time flies.
