Tuesday, August 28, 2012:  Paula received a shipment of fresh peaches from Washington State.  It was a part of a charity fund-raising project by the Brainerd Rotary Club.

Later in the day she was busy cooking chicken on the BBQ using her secret sauce.

Paula says, "I usually cook with wine.  Sometimes I even put it in the food."

Salads at Gilbert Lodge are more than just lettuce.  They often start with locally grown lettuce, tomatoes, celery, and cheese. 

Then it is time for the dressing.  Choices....choices. 

Decisions decisions, I can't make decisions!

Paula's   Later it was time to go for a spin on the Minnow on Gilbert Lake. 

It is very common to see water skiers having a great time.

Sunset came all too soon.

A nice clear evening.

We morn the recent loss of U.S. Astronaut Neil Armstrong, but celebrate his accomplishment of being the first human being to walk on the moon.
