         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Saturday, July 7, 2012:  Mark and Paula were invited to an Eagle Scout Court of Honor.  Friends Paul and Teresa Hirst were extremely proud that their son, Newel, attained the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.  Only 5% of Boy Scouts ever achieve this goal and Newel did it at age 15.  Good going, Newel.

Paul is an Eagle Scout too.     

Newel's certificate and ID card are on the left.

On the right is the Boy Scout emblem, which was displayed on his celebration cake.

Nicely done.
