16, 2012: Mark and Paula were off to the Wisconsin State Capitol in
the heart of Madison. Temperatures were in the mid 70's. |
The capitol was surrounded by thousands of people
and hundreds of booths. It was the famous
Dane County Farmers' Market.
|
Paula headed right for the scones. She had the blueberry and the cranberry. Wisconsin is famous for cranberry bogs and great cranberries. |
Radishes were out as well as many other vegetables. |
Snap beans were at their peak. |
Fresh garlic. |
Then there was the original "Bee Hat Man." He is Dale Marsden, selling Marsden's Pure Honey from McFarland, Wisconsin. |
The Gourd Man was there too with his wares. |
On the way back, The Dynamic Duo encountered the
Oscar Meyer
Wienermobile.
Great stuff! They never know what they are going to run into. Personal note: Hi, Leslie. |
