Saturday, June
16, 2012: Mark and Paula stopped
at the Pour House
in Stoughton, Wisconsin, for a beverage and lunch. Served that day was a
local favorite. It was Spotted Cow Beer from the
New Glarus Brewing
Company in southern Wisconsin. Spotted Cow...Where do they come up with a name like that for a beer? |
Then it was off to to a wedding. Paula's
niece, Jessica Timman, married Jim Schwefel. The two have been going
together for five years and finally tied the knot.
Jessica is an opera singer and Jim is a plumber. The ceremony took place in the Stoughton Opera House. Very fitting. |
Opera singers helped in the ceremony.
Very well done. |
There they were, a young married couple headed out on a life with all of its challenges and rewards. |
They left in a Model A Ford from the 1920's. The car had belonged to Paula's father Chester. So, the car was named Chester in his honor. A fitting tribute. |
Then there was the wedding dinner. Hmmm...does this mean that there may be another wedding in the family soon? |
This brings up a story about a food that you eat that causes pain and suffering for many years to come. It is WEDDING CAKE! |
Quote of the day: We wish them the best. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
