Getting into the spirit of St. Patrick's Day,
Chef Paula prepared a
green salad with
Kerrygold
Dubliner Cheese from Ireland. Gilbert Lodge is ready for the holiday. It sports a distinctive green roof. Guest baths have Irish Spring Soap for guests. |

It was warm enough to do
steaks on the grill. Buffalo steaks, to be exact. This meat
is a lot like beef only it is much leaner.
Buffalo ranches are common in South Dakota. |

On the table with baked
potato and real butter. Green beans reminded lodge guests that St.
Patrick's Day is almost here. Yes, it is beginning to look like the Emerald Isle at the lodge. The GL Theatre at Gilbert Lodge will be showing Darby O'Gill and the Little People on St. Patrick's Day. Made in 1959, it stars Albert Sharpe and Janet Munro. This was one of the early movies for Sean Connery, who later went on to be James Bond, 007. |
