Sunday, January 22, 2012: In
the last episode of this blog you will remember that
Fisherwoman Paula caught a nice
size Minnesota Walleye.
Well, on this day, she is practicing her stained glass hobby by cutting patterns for glass. |
Then it was on to breaking the glass with a special tool which has soft jaws. |
Meanwhile, Mark noticed that there were
fishermen out on Gilbert Lake.
Hmmm....I wonder if they are catching Mark and Paula's fish? |
Undaunted,
Chef Paula prepared
salads for the evening meal.
The egg you see is for the fish batter. |
In the pan, the fish caught in the last episode was fried in butter. |
Paula took delight in
serving the fish that she caught herself.
Very resourceful! |
On the table, it looked
even better.
Who could ask for more? |
Dessert with New York Vanilla ice cream from Minnesota cows was served with Hershey's chocolate syrup that evening. |
Quote of the day: Nothing but the best for guests at Gilbert Lodge. Mark Just 55 days until St. Patrick's Day. | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
