Saturday, November 12, 2011:  Mark and Paula attended the Annual Holiday Open House at the Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd.  The place is a part of the Crossing Arts Alliance.  When there, they heard Cleo Kuelbs, Dennis Coryeil, Jim Olsen performing wonderful holiday music.  Great stuff!

After returning to Gilbert Lodge, Muskrat Paula was joined by two other muskrat hunters.  In total, they brought in eight of the wily critters.  Muskrat furs are sold nationally, but often bring the best prices internationally from places like China.

(l-r) The hunters helping Paula were Bob and Gregg Miller of Miller Brothers Construction.  The Millers are more than happy to trap muskrats off lakes in the are at no charge to the property owners.  218-828-4312.
