         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Thursday, September 8, 2011:  Paula was glad to see that one of her apple trees was bearing fruit.  Almost right for picking.
Later in the day, Chef Paula was busy in the Galley preparing a salad for the evening meal. 

All of the ingredients shown here came from a local farmer's market.
The salad was excellent with Marzetti White Balsamic dressing.
Paula cooked perch that night on the grill at the Promenade Deck at Gilbert Lodge.

 
On the table it was just right with fresh steamed green beans and wild rice.
Dinner was topped off with a generous helping of Peach Pie Paula.
