         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Sunday, September 4, 2011:  The Dynamic Duo of Mark and Paula Persons showed up at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival where there was plenty of dancing and singing as it might have been in the 12th century.

Part 1 of 2
The day started out cool enough to wear a sweatshirt, but warmed up nicely in the afternoon.
Mark ran into a couple of good looking ladies and used the opportunity to show off his new Australian hat. 
You never know what you are going to run into on an adventure like this. 
Glass blowing drew large crowds.  Here, a master glass blower was closely monitoring the efforts of his young assistant at a furnace.
Shaping the glass is a real art and can burn a person if he is not careful.
These two delighted the crowd with riddle questions and answers.
Dancing was a frequent occurrence at the festival.
