         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
(part 2 of 2)
Saturday, September 3, 2011:  The Dynamic Duo of Mark and Paula Persons continued their experience at the Minnesota State Fair by getting their photo taken with the official Minnesota Gopher.
The butter producers do carvings in butter every year.  They are fascinating to see.
Mark and Paula enjoyed seeing the Gedney Pickle.  They like pickles.   
Channel 4 Television did a live broadcast from the fairgrounds at 5 PM with Jason DeRusha.  It was more fun to watch from this angle while the show producer is getting the crowd to cheer. 
Buckets of cookies were seen everywhere even in the hands of Minnesota Twins Baseball fans.
Mark liked the SPAM throne.  Spam comes from Austin, Minnesota.
There was plenty of dancing going as Mark watched intently.
Later there was more music.  This group played in New Orleans style.
The fair wrapped up with colorful fireworks to the ohs an ahs of the crowd. 
Hmmm, does this give an indication of where the Dynamic Duo are headed next?  Stay tuned to find out!
