Wednesday, August 10, 2011:  Would you believe me if I said this was a Minnesota lobster.  Also known as a crayfish.  Deep Diver Paula was enjoying trying to take macro shots with her underwater camera.
This little sunfish was protecting its nest of eggs.  The white mass under the fish is all the eggs.
And do you think she could catch one of these fish?  They just weren't interested in her bait as when she fished on Gilbert Lake.
Paula ran into this large snapping turtle while diving.  He was hiding in the weeds.  Paula went right on by but fortunately her partner spotted him.  Notice the iris of his eye.  This was "one big turtle." When he swam away there were two large bass in hot pursuit.
