Monday, August 8, 2011: (Yard, part 2) This obedient plant is so cool. You can take the petals and move them and they stay in place. It is not a common flower but is one of the few flowers that were native to the yard when we built. |
This is just a view of a portion of the back yard overlooking Gilbert Lake showing the wild bergamot in bloom. |
The raspberry bushes did very nicely this year. However, Paula had to thin them out to get a better crop next year. |
Just a view of our dotted mint also known as spotted bee balm. Check the next photo. They have the most unusual plant structure. |
This mint has the most unusual flower. Looks almost like an
orchid.
