         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Friday, August 5, 2011: Josie is a very tidy cat.  She wipes her feet on the welcome mat before entering Gilbert Lodge. 
That evening, Mystery Diners Mark and Paula went to The Landing at Lake Alexander.  To get to this hideaway place, travel about twelve miles west from Brainerd on Highway 210 and then ten miles south from Pillager, Minnesota, on County Road 1.

Menu items that night included baby back ribs on rice with vegetables, which they reported were very tasty.
Another item was Minnesota walleye.  An excellent choice.
Sunset near the Northstar Apartment building in Brainerd. 

Central Minnesota is a great place in the summer.
