Saturday, August 6, 2011: Rain and more rain seems to be the rule this summer in Central Minnesota.  A full two inches of rain fell at Gilbert Lodge in just over four hours this day.  The wild flowers loved it.
As seen through a large viewing window on the lower level.
To the west, it looked like a rain forest.   
A sink hole opened up in the parking lot of a store in Brainerd. A second one was starting to open on the grass side of the curb.  With that kind of rain, what else would you expect?  At least the grass is green.
