         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Friday, July 28, 2011:  A street repair crew showed up to sealcoat Island Drive.  First, they sprayed an oil on the asphalt pavement to soften it up and make it sticky.  
Then they followed it up by showering the street with pebbles.  Note there is a young woman operating the rock dispenser on this machine.

In all, there were about nine men and one woman.   

Rollers were used to push the pebbles into the street.
The crew came back later to sweep up loose rocks. 
This butterfly did not seem to be bothered by all the nearby machinery.
