Chef Paula

 

Tuesday, July 26, 2011:  Chef Paula was on duty in the Galley at Gilbert Lodge.  What is she doing?

She is boiling peppers as the start of the evening meal.

Paula mixed fresh lean ground beef with rice, Worcestershire Sauce, and tomato sauce.
She spooned it into the cooked peppers and put them in an oven for an hour. 
Meanwhile, Chef Paula prepared a salad complete with cucumbers and carrots. 
Finally the main dish arrived garnished with catsup, corn, and Pulla Bread compliments of neighbor Teresa Hirst.
