Monday, July 4, 2011:  Thousands gathered for the annual 4th of July fireworks in Brainerd, Minnesota.  Some had their own fireworks.
A band on stage played the National Anthem while it was sung by Laura Oldham, who is one of our friends.  She participated as Sister Amnesia at the play Nunsense.
Then the fireworks began.  The band played the Battle Hymn of the Republic with the lyrics "Glory, glory, hallelujah."  A thrilling performance.
With 80 degree weather it was just right and the fireworks had many shapes.  
Colors were spectacular.
The crowd loved it. 
The finally was especially brilliant.
