The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

Sunday, July 3, 2011:  The Minnow was made ready for another afternoon on the waters of Gilbert Lake.

While she was at cruising speed, the fearless crew spotted an airplane which had recently landed and was tied up along the shore.
Deep Diver Paula got into her wet suit for treasure diving on the lake.
She explained how diving works to friend Karen Engen, who was very interested in how all of this works.
With all of her diving gear on, Paula gave a last smile before descending into the depths.
While Paula was down, a jet ski was spotted.  It was a good way to stay cool in the 80 degree temperatures that day.
Water skiers were everywhere as usual.
Finally, Deep Diver Paula returned from the bottom with her treasure....a Hamm's Beer can!  That's it...Paula?  The only thing in it was lake water.  Paula, I thought you were a treasure diver!

It just goes to show you that one man's trash is another man's/woman's treasure.

Hamm's is out of business.  Maybe this can will be worth something someday.  Nah!  For now, it will be with Deep Diver Paula's Dive Treasure Museum.

A notable sunset on a dive day.

Deep Diver Paula explained she will be back another day to continue searching for treasure.

Quote of the day:  You couldn't ask for much more on a summer day.  Mark < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
