Monday, June 20, 2011:  It is mid-June and turtles are laying eggs on the grounds at Gilbert Lodge.  As you can see, this one is about a foot long.
This one is no spring chicken.  It measured in at 23 inches from the tip of its nose to the tip of its tail. 
They are everywhere.....they're everywhere! 

Here is Paula with a much smaller one.
Daisies are in bloom too.    
You gotta love this sunset.
