Sunday, February 6, 2011:  It was Super Bowl Sunday.  Mark spent his early life in Marshfield, Wisconsin, where he graduated from high school.  So he cheered for the Green Bay Packers.

There were no costume failures/wardrobe malfunction to add to the festivities this time.

Tied for the top award as best commercials on this Super Bowl broadcast were ads by Budweiser and Coca Cola.  They were closely followed by an ad for Volkswagen featuring Darth Vader.  Bridgestone Tire and Chrysler 200 commercials received honorable mentions in the Gilbert Lodge pole.

Chef Paula prepared Super Bowl Pizza from scratch.  Rich with pepperoni, cheese, green olives, and baked on a home-made crust, it was delicious.

Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers for winning the Super Bowl 31 to 25 over the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Even though the Steelers were favored by many to win the Super Bowl, there was an Internet robot study predicting a Packers win based on the number of times their name was found on the Web in recent months.      

Only 39 days until St. Patrick's Day!
