August 27, 2010:  Mille Lacs Lake in central Minnesota is a popular spot in the summer for  Kitesurfing.  The north side of the lake is usually best for wind.          

A good kite, a good wind, a water ski, and some help getting started.    
Soon, they are skimming the water.
Great fun.

Sometimes things get a bit hairy!
It is reminiscent of the movie, Endless Summer.
